ACP50 Virtual FAQ
The ACP is excited to provide a brand-new virtual experience for our members and meeting attendees. Below are some Frequently Asked Questions relating to the Annual Session, the virtual platform, and more.
Please check back for additional FAQs. If you have a specific question, please let us know.
What is the ACP Virtual Annual Session?
The ACP Virtual Annual Session is a fully virtual experience occurring online Nov. 1-7, 2020. It is the premier event in prosthodontics, where hundreds of prosthodontists, specialty residents, dental students, dental technicians, general dentists, other specialists, and industry partners gather to exchange knowledge, resources, strategies, solutions, and more. Attendees will have access to social activities, exhibit hall access, and designated networking opportunities.
What does a virtual Annual Session look like?
This year’s virtual meeting still has all of the best parts of an in-person Annual Session – world-class education, interactive social events, premier exhibitors, and more – minus the expense of travel and lodging! All of the scientific sessions, social events, workshops, corporate symposia, and exhibits will be happening through a special virtual platform, which only meeting attendees will have access to.
You can learn a little bit more about the virtual platform here.
Why does the Annual Session take place over 7 days?
All of the education, social events, and more that typically take place during an in-person Annual Session are spread throughout the afternoons and evenings of Nov. 1-7 to accommodate as many schedules as possible. Since we know it’s impossible for everything to fit into everyone’s schedule and time zone, we are excited to offer all education sessions on-demand after they take place.
Will I have to close my practice or miss school to attend?
No! If you aren’t able to attend a session live, you can catch up on-demand through the virtual platform through Dec. 7. If you still need more time, or just want to revisit your favorite sessions, most educational content will be available to meeting attendees through the ACP’s online education center ACP Anywhere after Dec. 7.
How much does the meeting cost?
Please visit the Registration Information page to learn more about the meeting cost.
What is included in my registration?
All continuing education sessions, social events, networking opportunities, and workshops are included in your meeting registration. Several events that are typically an additional fee are included for all registrants at no cost this year, including: Anniversary Celebration (formerly the Welcome Reception), Annual Awards Ceremony, Journal of Prosthodontics workshop, and the all-day Dental and Medical Diagnostic Coding Workshop.
When will I have access to the virtual event platform?
All registrants will receive an email from ACP when the platform is available on or before the start date of Nov. 1.
How do I log in to the virtual event platform?
All registrants will be provided with custom log in credentials by ACP a few days prior to the event. You will use your credentials to log into the MeetingPlay Platform for the entire conference.
Will the sessions be recorded to access later?
Yes. All registered attendees will have access to the on-demand recordings and the meeting platform up until Dec. 7, 2020.
What if I have questions during the live conference dates?
ACP staff will be online to answer any questions you may have. Please visit our Help Desk within the main lobby of the MeetingPlay conference platform site.
