2014 Table Clinics: Call for Applications

Residents and dental students are invited to present a Table Clinic at the ACP Annual Session in New Orleans, Nov. 5-8, 2014. Additionally, the ACP Education Foundation will sponsor the educational registration fees for a limited number of ACP Student Members.

The Table Clinic presentations are intended to highlight scholarly activity, promote the research of prosthodontics residents and to engage predoctoral dental students. A Table Clinic can be a presentation of research results, clinical outcomes, laboratory techniques, or topics of general interest to the ACP members and guests. The Table Clinics will be in poster format similar to AADR/IADR with these guidelines.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be currently enrolled in 3-4-year advanced training program in prosthodontics or a D.D.S./D.M.D. dental program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Graduates who completed an accredited postgraduate prosthodontic program within the six months prior to the Annual Session are also encouraged to participate.

Applicants must be a member of the ACP or eligible for membership. You may submit your membership application concurrent with your table clinic application for review. D.D.S./D.M.D. students can join as a Predoctoral Alliance Member and eligible residents can join as a Student Member.

Attendance:

No applicants will be accepted until they have registered for the ACP Annual Session. The ACP Education Foundation will sponsor educational registration fees on a first-come, first-served basis.

To qualify, you must be a 2014 Student Member of the ACP, you must be enrolled full-time in an advanced postgraduate prosthodontic program, and you must register online before Sept. 5. The table clinic presentations will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6. You must also register for the Student/New Prosthodontist Reception on Friday and one of the Corporate Symposia on Saturday.
