2019 'Match' Underway
Applications per prosthodontic program have more than doubled over the past 10 years. Much like the processes used by many other medical and dental programs, the Postdoctoral Dental Matching Program ('the Match') is designed to improve program recruitment schedules, communications between directors and candidates, and the ability of applicants to find the right program for their interests.
38 prosthodontic programs have signed up for the 2019 'Match' program. The ACP Board of Directors adopted a position statement supporting the 'Match' process for resident selection and is providing support to programs to ensure the process is fair and effective.
