2023 ACP Awards of Distinction
The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) honored the recipients of the 2023 Awards of Distinction during the Annual Awards & President's Dinner held at the 53rd Annual Session of the ACP on Oct. 27 in San Diego. These awards honor individuals that have made significant contributions to the College and the specialty.
The awards that were presented were:
Distinguished Researcher Award
Recognizing outstanding contributions through original research, literature, teaching, or clinical applications.

Distinguished Service Award
Recognizing outstanding service to the College and the characteristics of a true humanitarian
2023 recipient: Dr. Hiroshi Hirayama
Educator of the Year Award
Recognizing exceptional skills as a dental educator
2023 recipient: Dr. Avinash S. Bidra
Junior Educator of the Year Award
Recognizing exceptional skills as a junior dental educator
2023 recipient: Dr. Akanksha Srivastava
Distinguished Clinician Award
Recognizing outstanding contributions to clinical dentistry
2023 recipient: Dr. William C. Martin
Dental Technician Leadership Award
Recognizing outstanding service to prosthodontics and the dental laboratory profession

Major General (Retired) Bill B. Lefler Federal Services Award
