A Message from 2022 Region 1 Membership Director Dr. Louis DeSantis
Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting messages from the ACP Regional Membership Directors. Here is a message from Region 1 Membership Director Dr. Louis F. DeSantis:
“Maybe during the worst of times, we have come to grow and recognize what’s truly important in our lives: health, family, time with loved ones, community.
During the last two years of the pandemic, I witnessed a strong unity in the community that is the American College of Prosthodontists. I am thankful to be a member of this Board and witness the outstanding leadership of ACP Presidents Hudis, Hutten, and now Bouma. The sharing of ideas and the caring amongst colleagues, the ability to communicate and move forward. The worst of times brought out the best in all of us. As we begin to move to in-person meetings in what has become “the new normal,” we can appreciate our personal interactions more than ever.
Why do I belong to the American College of Prosthodontists?
Because its who we are.”
