A Message from Region 2 Membership Director Dr. Loana Tovar Suinaga
The world we live in today is inclusive for all those that have the desire to work, commitment to the specialty, and most importantly passion for the best outcomes for their patients. The American College of Prosthodontists is the organization that represents all the different people involved in our specialty—practitioners, researchers, educators, maxillofacial prosthodontists, lab technicians, students, recent graduates, and retired members. By working as a team, will we grow stronger, and will help bridge the gap between the high-tech younger generation and the more experienced leaders in the field.
I am proud to serve as the Membership Director of Region 2. My desire to serve stems from two main reasons. First, my mentors that have provided me guidance and support and instilled in me the importance of giving back to the specialty. Their dedication and passion inspired me to get involved and be an active member of the ACP. Second, I wish to encourage every generation to join in the effort to keep evolving and growing our specialty. I invite you to serve and participate in the multiple committees and sections the ACP offers. You will feel welcomed, respected, and connected to the specialty we love. You can be part of the future—it is never too early or too late to be part of the ACP.
