A Message from Region 5 Membership Director Dr. Van Ramos, Jr.
As a program director it’s fun and motivating to be associated with residents who have so much enthusiasm for the specialty and just want to learn. The academic environment of residency training keeps everyone in that competitive mode, which nurtures that desire to be the best. Once you finish your program and enter the private practice market, it’s important to have a group to keep you up-to-date and motivated about your chosen specialty. The ACP has multiple educational programs designed to help you stay at the forefront of the specialty. Maintain the membership you’ve had since you were a resident and stay on top of your game!
