ABP 2021 Board Examiner Election Results
The Members of the Council for the American Board of Prosthodontics are pleased to announce that Dr. Gerald T. Grant has been elected as the new Examiner (Director) Elect of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Gerald T. Grant, DMD, MS, FACP is Professor, Assistant Dean of Advanced Technologies and Innovation in the Department of Reconstruction and Rehabilitation at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He received his DMD degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1985, a certificate in Prosthodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, Bethesda, MD and a Master’s of Science from George Washington University in 1995, and a certificate in Maxillofacial Prosthetics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in 1999. He came to ULSD after 33 years of service with the United States Navy where he practiced and taught nationally and internationally.
Dr. Grant is the current President Elect of the ACP. His clinical work has been with surgeons in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of craniofacial defect to include post trauma and cancer treatment using virtual surgical planning, digital imaging, and custom fabrication of devices with CD printing technologies.
