ABP 2023 Board Examiner Election Results
The Members of the Council for the American Board of Prosthodontics are pleased to announce that Dr. Thomas J. Salinas has been elected as the new Examiner (Director) Elect of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Salinas is Professor and Chair of Dental Specialties at the Mayo Clinic, where his time is dedicated to rehabilitation of patients with complex care needs. A native of New Orleans, he received prosthodontic training at Louisiana State University Health Science Center and maxillofacial prosthetic fellowship from MD Anderson Cancer Center. He served as program director for Advanced Prosthodontics Education at the Mayo Clinic. He has authored over 90 publications related to prosthodontics and interdisciplinary care. His research interests are biomaterial behavior and clinical outcome studies.
