  • A maximum of 96 Section-B, Section-D, and Section-B/D “Oral Only” exams will be offered.

The ABP reserves the right to cancel the examination, or further limit examination registration, if conditions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic dictate. This is not expected at this time.

Deadline for registration is Friday, September 9, 2022. Registrations will be on a first come, first served basis. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Registration details are provided on the ABP website under “Potential Candidates.”

Please note that fees associated with the exams have recently increased to reflect elevated costs related to development and hosting of the certification examination process.

To reiterate - All examinations will be given face-to-face onsite at the J.W. Marriott in Austin, Texas, on Nov. 6-8, 2022.

The American Board of Prosthodontics strives to support all candidates seeking certification. Direct questions about examination registration to info@abpros.org. Questions related to the examinations or exam logistics may be directed to the ABP Chief Professional Officer at exams@abpros.org. Please note that the American Board of Prosthodontics will not provide guidance on specific therapies or information that is clearly detailed in the ABP Examination Guidelines for the Certification Process. This and related information must be reviewed, determined, accomplished, and justified by the candidate prior to and during the examination.

Please follow the ABP website for continuing information on this and future examinations.
