ACP Fellow Named Dean at Howard University
ACP Fellow Dr. Andrea D. Jackson has been appointed as Dean of the College of Dentistry at Howard University. Dr. Jackson previously served as Interim Dean, Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs, and Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at Howard University.
“As Interim Dean, Dr. Jackson has performed admirably, and gained the trust and confidence of faculty, students, and staff alike,” said President of Howard University, Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick.
Dr. Jackson had this to say after being appointed Interim Dean last summer, "My goal is to serve as a leader to our team of dedicated faculty and staff as we continue to produce competent, culturally sensitive graduates that provide the highest quality patient-centered, evidence-based care to our patients while improving the quality of oral health in our local, national, and global communities.”
