ACP Prosthodontic Forum held Annual Meeting
The Prosthodontic Forum held their annual meeting on Oct. 2, 2021. Led by ACP Board Member Dr. Douglas G. Benting, the meeting was attended by representatives from 15 Forum organizations. Topics of discussion include specialty recertification, and future collaboration opportunities in the areas of education, advocacy, and membership.
“The collaborative effort among the Forum Organizations in research, education, dental laboratory technology, and clinical practice has the potential to provide benefit in 3 critical areas: membership, meeting attendance, and corporate sponsorship, all while advancing the discipline of prosthodontics in a broader scope,” said Dr. Douglas G. Benting, Director of the Prosthodontic Forum. “The bigger picture goal of the Forum is – What can we do today to create a better scenario for the Forum organizations in 10 years?”
Officially founded in 1994, the purpose of the Prosthodontic Forum is to provide a unified voice in the representation of the discipline of prosthodontics and to provide a means of exchanging ideas, incentives and information between prosthodontically oriented organizations.
