ACP Supports Legislation to Reduce Interest on Student Loans
In a letter to U.S. Rep. Brian Babin, DDS (R-TX), the ACP joined in collaboration with other specialties to send a letter commending the Congressman for introducing the "Resident Education Deferred Interest Act".
If passed, the bill "will halt interest accrual while loans are in forbearance or deferment for those who qualify for the internship/residency category of either of these payment delay options."
