ACPEF Chair Uses 3D Printers for PPE
ACPEF Chair Dr. Karen Bruggers and her colleagues at the LSU School of Dentistry were recently featured in this news story by 4WWL, a CBS affiliate in Louisiana, for their work to create PPE equipment for frontline health workers.
They're utilizing 3D printers to create reusable N95 masks from a flexible plastic that can be cleaned, and pairing them with an N99 filter that can be replaced.
