ACPEF Founders Society Award Recipient
The ACPEF Founders Society Award honors individuals who have made a significant impact on the growth and development of the ACP Education Foundation, and have demonstrated an extraordinary level of commitment to the advancement of the specialty.
Dr. Stephen D. Campbell has been selected to receive the 2018 Founders Society Award. He serves as Tenured Professor, Director of the Implant and Innovations Center, and the Director of the Center for Digital Excellence at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He served as Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry from 1992 to 2018.
Dr. Campbell has extensive clinical experience and has been active in dental research throughout his career. He is a past president of the ACP and the American Board of Prosthodontics. He served on the CODA Predoctoral and Prosthodontic Review Committees for 12 years, as well as most recently Commissioner for Prosthodontics. He served on the ACPEF Board of Directors for over 12 years, including as Chair.
The award will be presented to Dr. Campbell at the ACPEF Donor Recognition Reception on Thursday, Nov. 1 at the Annual Session in Baltimore.
