ACPEF Funding Highlight: Joint Educators conference
Over 140 attendees representing more than 60 programs attended the Joint Educators Conference held at the 2018 ACP Annual Session in Baltimore.
The predoctoral program's theme focused on how schools are integrating digital technology into their curricula. Speakers included those from programs involved in the ACP Digital Dentistry Curriculum, and also those who were not part of the piloting initiative.
The postdoctoral meeting included an update from the American Board of Prosthodontics and a presentation from ADEA's Director of Governance, which helped directors navigate the recent changes made to the international applicant visa process. The rest of the postdoctoral session was focused on surgical implant placement, which included a review and moderated discussion of a recent surgical implant survey sent to all prosthodontic program directors.
