ACPEF Recognizes Colgate
In 2017, Colgate made a four year commitment to the ACPEF. As we enter the third year of the pledge, the ACPEF would like to recognize and thank Colgate for the support.
In entirety, Colgate and the ACPEF have been working together since 2013, funding projects that ultimately benefit the patient through initiatives in research and resources for practitioners and their office. Currently, Colgate is funding a project with the objective of preparing dentists and prosthodontists to better coach their patients on preventive and maintenance care.
"We are delighted to continue our collaboration with the ACP Education Foundation on this important project," said Dr. Barbara Shearer, Director of Scientific Affairs, NA.
"The project aims to help the next generation of dentists and prosthodontists better coach their patients to prevent disease and achieve optimum oral health. We all learn in school that prevention and maintenance are essential for the longevity of restorations but the tools for both educators and students are lacking. The ACP Education Foundation is ideally situated to help fill this gap."
Please join us in thanking Dr. Shearer and Colgate for their support, continuing many years of working to advance education and research in prosthodontics.
