ADEA Council of Advanced Education Programs Update
The ADEA Council of Advanced Education Programs (COAEP) met in March during ADEA’s Annual Session. The mission of the Council is to provide a common forum to discuss and promote issues related to the education of post-graduate dental students and residents. ACP member Dr. Laurie F. Moeller serves as the Prosthodontics Delegate on the Council on behalf of the ACP.
At their meeting in March, the main topic of discussion for the Council was possible themes for the 2020 Program Director Summit. Potential topics include resident selection, managing resident performance, the postgraduate environment, and the management of the dental school-based and hospital-based programs.
The group will reconvene this October in Portland, Oregon.
