Announcing the 2018 Awards of Distinction
Through the annual awards program, the American College of Prosthodontists honors individuals for outstanding and substantial contributions to the specialty or the College.
We are pleased to announce the 2018 recipients, who will be formally recognized during the Annual Awards & President's Dinner on Friday, Nov. 2 at the ACP's 48th Annual Session in Baltimore:
- Distinguished Lecturer Award: Dr. Chandur Wadhwani
- Distinguished Service Award: Dr. Radi M. Masri
- Educator of the Year Award: Dr. Carl F. Driscoll
- Clinician/Researcher Award: Dr. John A. Sorensen
- Dental Technician Leadership Award: Mr. Peter Pizzi
- Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Bill B. Lefler Federal Services Award: Dr. Rodney D. Phoenix
- Private Practice Prosthodontist Award, Region 1: Dr. Jonathan Zamzok
- Private Practice Prosthodontist Award, Region 2: Dr. Geoff R. Cunningham
- Private Practice Prosthodontist Award, Region 3: Dr. Valerie E. Cooper
- Private Practice Prosthodontist Award, Region 4: Dr. Farzam Maleki
