This session will cover the attachment patients often referred to a prosthodontist for care. Key discussion points will be servicing, troubleshooting, and indications for use for various overdenture bar, stud, and partial denture attachments used over the last 50 years.

At the conclusion of this session, attendees should be able to:

  • Complete service for extracornal partial denture patients.
  • Provide service for overdenture stud attachment patients.
  • Differentiate service for overdenture bar attachment patients.

Biography: Chris Bormes joined Preat Corporation in 1997 after graduating from Gonzaga University and the City College of San Francisco Dental Technology Program. He wrote the Preat Corporation Technical Manual. He has invented six different attachments, and 24 different implant products. Presented worldwide on Implants and Attachments, Treatment Planning, Laboratory Technology, and Removable Partial Denture design. Keynote speaker for many meetings.
