The advent of CAD/CAM technology has made it possible to eliminate the polymerization shrinkage of the denture base material and reduce misfit at the implant abutment/prosthetic interface. This presentation will identify the benefits of utilizing contemporary and classical prosthodontic techniques to improve accuracy, optimize function, and enhance esthetics.

At the conclusion of this session, attendees should be able to:

  • Recognize the benefits of utilizing processed record bases.
  • Acknowledge the importance of accurate centric jaw relation records.
  • Discuss methods to optimize function and improve esthetics.

Biography: Dr. James Lee received his dental degree from the University of Manchester, England in 2010 and a certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from the University College London in 2014. He obtained his certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Minnesota in 2018 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
