2024 Resident and Dental Student Poster Competition
Residents and Dental Students will be able to submit an abstract and digital poster that will be placed on a dedicated 2024 ACP Annual Session Poster Website.
These poster presentations are intended to highlight scholarly activity, promote research, and engage students. Presentation topics may include research results, clinical outcomes, laboratory techniques, or other topics of interest to ACP members and guests.
Residents will classify their submission as a "case presentation" or "original research" during the abstract submission process.
Eligibility: Resident applicants must be currently enrolled in a 3-4-year advanced training program in prosthodontics which is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Additionally, graduates who completed a CODA-accredited prosthodontics residency program within 6 months prior to the Annual Session are also encouraged to participate. Dental student applicants must be currently enrolled in a DDS/DMD CODA-accredited dental program in North America.
Competition: All accepted applicants must submit their poster files by the designated date. The first set of judges will score all submitted posters before the Annual Session. Onsite, each applicant will be assigned a time slot and will present live to an assigned judge. Those scores will be combined to determine the top 3 placements from each category (Predoctoral, Resident Case Presentation, Resident Original Research). Please review the submission guidelines for more information.
Abstracts are due by Aug. 30 and can be submitted here.
