Digital Curriculum Session at ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition
This past Saturday at the ADEA Annual Session and Exhibition, the ACP and ACPEF hosted a special presentation about the Digital Dentistry Curriculum.
An estimated 85 people attended and the presenter panel included a member of the Curriculum Task Force, a pilot school mentor, leaders from pilot schools, and representatives from Henry Schein and its partner companies who have supported this project.
The session dived into the process of developing the curriculum, an overview of the piloting phase, and Q&A from the attendees. Thank you to all who attended and participated!
More About the Digital Dentistry Curriculum Task Force & Team
The Digital Dentistry Curriculum Task Force was conceived in response to the urgent need for institutions to address the education of undergraduate and advanced prosthodontic students to transition into the digital reality.
The Task Force, Drs. Stephen Campbell, Lyndon Cooper, Lily Garcia, and Carol Lefebvre, was supported by the Curriculum Development Team that included 50 volunteers from 33 institutions. It was funded by an unrestricted grant from Henry Schein and its partner corporations. A portion of this grant contributed to the ACPEF endowment.
