Digital Workflow to Predict Lateral Profile
Now online in the Journal of Prosthodontics, Drs. Jingjing Shao, Chaoran Xue, Hai Zhang, & Lei Li present a clinical report that describes treatment of a 36-year-old woman who presented with mobile teeth and poor masticatory function.
In full-arch, implant-supported rehabilitation of patients with severe periodontitis, prediction of lateral facial profile with modified dental position remains a challenge, especially for patients with protruded anterior teeth. The digital workflow described in this report predicts lateral profiles and then guides the implant placement and restoration fabrication.
