Kentucky Section Interdisciplinary Study Club Dinner

Dr. Thamer Musbah will be speaking on Detection and Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Dentistry, and two hours of continuing education credits will be provided. Dinner will be served.

The ACP Kentucky Section is hosting a special Interdisciplinary Study Club meeting, directed by Dr. Sarah Foard-Johnson, on Thursday, Sept. 19 at Whip Mix Corp.

Dr. Thamer Musbah will present the lecture Don’t Give Up on your Dreams: “Keep Sleeping,” Detection and Management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea in Dentistry. Two continuing education credit hours will be provided.

This course is supported by ACP Kentucky Section and WhipMix Corp. and is limited to 40 attendees.

Each member is encouraged to invite only two other specialists to attend as guests, such as oral surgeons, periodontists, orthodontists, endodontists, or other dental specialists. Please provide names and emails of your invited guests. 

This course is free for Kentucky Section members and two invited specialist guests per member

Please RSVP to Dr. Ahmad Kutkut by Monday, Sept. 9 so a head count can be forwarded to the venue.

About Dr. Thamer Musbah​

Dr. Musbah graduated from Tripoli University, College of dentistry in Tripoli, Libya in 2004. He is currently an Assistant Professor and director of dental urgent care clinic in the Division of Oral Diagnosis, Oral Medicine and Oral Radiology at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Dr. Musbah trained in Special Needs Dentistry at New York University. He completed residencies in Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and in Orofacial Pain at the University of Kentucky college of dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine. Dr. Musbah’s main clinical interests are non-surgical management and treatment of oral lesions, oral dryness including Sjogren’s syndrome, TMJ disorders, facial pain and dental management of obstructive sleep apnea patients.
