As one of the ten recognized dental specialties, Advanced Specialty Education Programs in Prosthodontics require a minimum of an additional 34 months of specialized training for residents. Prosthodontic training programs prepare residents to practice at the specialty level and include disease risk assessment and intervention, diagnosis, planning and treatment of a broad range of oral health conditions. Programs also prepare students to utilize the most recent advances in digital dentistry, providing improved patient outcomes, control, and patient experiences.
