New Executive Director for ACP & ACP Education Foundation

CaradinePoinsett1The ACP Board of Directors has selected Dr. Linda Caradine-Poinsett as the new Executive Director of the American College of Prosthodontists and ACP Education Foundation, effective Sept. 12.

Caradine-Poinsett joins the ACP from the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists, where she has served as the Executive Director since 2014. She was previously the Associate Director of the Section of Litigation with the American Bar Association, and has held high-level positions with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America - Midwest, the College of American Pathologists, and the American Dental Hygienists' Association.

"This is an exciting time of change and growth for prosthodontics," said ACP President Dr. Carl F. Driscoll. "With her extensive experience in healthcare and passion for leadership, Linda is uniquely qualified to ensure that we continue to serve the needs of our members and shape the specialty's future in organized dentistry, in the dental industry, and with the public."

Caradine-Poinsett is a member of the Association Forum, American Society of Association Executives, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Chicago Health Executive Forum, the Health Care Compliance Association, and the National Association for Female Executives.

She received a bachelor of science in healthcare administration and an MBA with an emphasis in finance at National-Louis University in Chicago, a master of jurisprudence degree in health law from Loyola University, and a PhD in organizational leadership and structure from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
