New Public Relations & Communications Division Director Appointed
The ACP Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Elphida G. Ayvazian as Director, Public Relations & Communications Division. She will complete the term of Dr. Victoria A. Vickers. Dr. Ayvazian previously served as Co-Chair of the Public Relations Committee.
Dr. Ayvazian maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Great Neck, NY. She is also an Attending in the Graduate Prosthodontics Program at New York Hospital College Queens, and has been active in promoting prosthodontics in areas such as digital dentistry.
"We are delighted to have Dr. Ayvazian join the ACP Board of Directors," said ACP President Dr. Robert M. Taft. "Her experience in private practice and her commitment to education make her well-qualified to guide our communications with the public, with members, and with the dental community. And we cannot thank Dr. Vickers enough for her several years of dedicated service and remarkable list of achievements."
