Screw Channel Angulation on Reverse Torque Values
Now online in the Journal of Prosthodontics, Drs. Anton Petrich, Eric Hu, Christopher Hamlin, and Glen Imamura compare the reverse torque values of abutment screws tightened from three different angles.
The authors found that all reverse torque values did not reach the targeted torque value of 35 Ncm, and mean screw reverse torque values were significantly influenced by screwdriver insertion angulation.
