The ACP and ACPEF Welcome New Executive Director, Chris Welber
The The American College of Prosthodontists (ACP) and ACP Education Foundation are pleased to announce Chris Welber, MBA, MA, CAE, as the new Executive Director for the College and the Foundation!
Chris Welber is an experienced healthcare association leader who is excited to bring his expertise to the College as the next Executive Director. With over 15 years of experience in leading healthcare specialty associations, Chris has helped organizations achieve their strategic initiatives focusing on growth, expanding advocacy, and improving member engagement.
Prior to joining the ACP, Chris served as Executive Director of the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), where he grew the organization from a small niche specialty to become the largest dedicated association serving the field of neuromodulation. He also led NANS through a comprehensive redesign of its educational offerings and events, making them the most widely attended in the field.
Chris holds an MBA degree from DePaul University and has also attained his Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. Prior to NANS, Chris worked for the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, managing its former international education exchange program.
In his free time, Chris enjoys sports, movies, gardening, travel, and SCUBA diving. He currently resides in the Chicago area with his family and is greatly looking forward to collaborating with ACP’s leadership, staff, and volunteers to help ACP continue to grow and serve as the leading organization for the field of prosthodontics.
